Clay Walker brings the Doin’ What I Love Tour to The Venetian Theatre on Saturday, December 5, with an 8:30 PM show.
What matters now
The May presales are long over. The Venetian’s current event page still lists the December 5 performance at 8:30 PM, so the useful decision now is whether this is the country night you want during a very busy early-December Vegas weekend.
What the show is built around
Walker’s career is deep in 1990s and 2000s country, with 11 chart-topping hits and songs including “If I Could Make a Living” and “She Won’t Be Lonely Long.” The current Venetian listing also points to newer material including “Cowboys in Heaven.”
Plan for the venue
The Venetian Theatre is inside the Venetian/Palazzo complex, and the resort is large enough that “I’m at the hotel” does not mean “I’m at my seat.” Give yourself walking time once you’re inside.
🌵 Kris’s take
Clay Walker on this weekend makes sense because the audience is already here. The useful question isn’t whether country works in Vegas in December — it obviously does. It’s whether you want a catalog-heavy theater show instead of one of the bigger arena-scale NFR-week options.
