The May 7 Dispatch roundup captured a wave of Las Vegas concert announcements across Sphere, Allegiant Stadium, T-Mobile Arena, Dolby Live, The Colosseum, Fontainebleau and other rooms.
The headline names
The original story led with Metallica at Sphere, BTS at Allegiant Stadium and LISA at The Colosseum, then tracked a much wider slate including Foo Fighters, KAROL G, Olivia Rodrigo, J. Cole, Doja Cat, Wu-Tang Clan, Jonas Brothers, Backstreet Boys and more.
Why the story is an archive now
A roundup this broad starts aging the minute it publishes. Some dates pass, schedules change and new legs get added. The reporting record still matters, but expired presales and old “new” labels do not.
What the week showed
Vegas was functioning simultaneously as a stadium market, an arena market, a residency market and a theater market. That is the durable story: touring acts and destination residencies were competing for the same visitor calendar across very different room sizes.
How to use this page
Treat this as a May 2026 snapshot, not a live listings page. For any event you are planning now, use the official venue or current Dispatch coverage before making travel or ticket decisions.
🌵 Kris’s take
The size of the list was the story. Vegas used to be easy to describe as residencies plus a few touring weekends. That model is too small now. Sphere, Allegiant and T-Mobile can reshape an entire weekend while the Strip theaters keep running underneath them.
