Live Nation Las Vegas dropped its most comprehensive show update of the year on Thursday, and the list is significant. Among the newly confirmed announcements: Metallica's long-rumored Sphere residency is officially real, BTS is returning to Allegiant Stadium for four nights in May, and LISA is set to become the first K-pop artist in history to headline The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The full update spans shows running from this month through December 2026 — and into 2027 — across every major Las Vegas venue. What follows is a rundown of the most significant newly announced additions. Vegas Sidekick does not have tickets to these events. The most anticipated residency announcement of the year. Metallica debuts their Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere — their first extended Las Vegas run — with No Repeat Weekends, meaning the band plays a completely different setlist Thursday and Saturday throughout the run. 24 shows spanning October 2026 through March 2027. Sphere's immersive technologies will deliver what the band calls an entirely new Metallica experience.

BTS returns to Las Vegas for four nights at Allegiant Stadium as part of their first worldwide group tour since the 2021–2022 "Permission to Dance on Stage" run.
