Sting is returning to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. John Mayer has stretched his Sphere engagement to 21 dates. Matchbox Twenty is stopping at Caesars on its 30th anniversary tour. Three announcements, three different booking situations.
The practical part is keeping the dates straight. Sting plays two separate blocks, Mayer's calendar has expanded twice, and Matchbox Twenty has one scheduled Las Vegas concert.
Sting 3.0: Eleven nights at Caesars Palace
Sting returns to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace beginning March 4, 2027. The Sting 3.0 residency brings him back with guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, a three-piece configuration that gives his solo and Police catalog a different arrangement from a full-band show.
Don't mistake this for an every-weekend residency. The dates are split across two specific runs, so choose the month first and then the night.
John Mayer's Sphere run reaches 21 shows
Mayer started with six announced April performances, added 12 more, and has now added June 9, 11 and 12, 2027. The full 21-show engagement runs April 8 through June 12, 2027.
The show brings together solo performances, a full-band set and the John Mayer Trio with Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino. These are different parts of the same evening, not separate shows you have to choose between.
If an earlier announcement only showed six or 18 dates, that's why: Sphere has since expanded the calendar. Use the current dates rather than an old announcement graphic.

Matchbox Twenty books one night at the Colosseum
Matchbox Twenty is bringing its 30th Anniversary Tour to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Friday, June 11, 2027. The Wallflowers and The Lucky are also on the bill.
This is a touring concert, not a Vegas residency. The distinction matters when you're deciding whether to plan around that one date or look for multiple performances.
One easy-to-miss overlap: John Mayer also has a Sphere show on June 11. They're at different venues, but the same evening, so check your plans before assuming you can do both.
The ticket dates worth keeping
For Mayer's newly announced June dates, general sales begin October 16. Sting follows October 17, and Matchbox Twenty October 23. Those are on-sale dates, not performance dates; the actual shows are in 2027.
