🌵 Spike Wants to Know
Have you seen BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon before?

You already know. The energy in that arena is something you can’t fully describe to someone who hasn’t seen it — fire, sparks, the crack of impact, and 400 people losing their minds over a robot. Bring someone who’s never been and watch their face when the first hit lands. That reaction is half the show.

BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon is unlike anything else running in Las Vegas right now. The robots you’ve seen on the Discovery Channel — the ones that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to build — are fighting in person, 20 feet in front of you. Crunching metal, fire, sparks, and robot drivers who built these machines themselves watching them take damage. At $58 with 36% off the door price, this is one of the most unique shows you can see anywhere on earth, not just in Las Vegas.

About BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon

BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon is the first — and only — live, ticketed, daily robotic combat show ever created. It takes the championship robots from the hit Discovery Channel series and puts them in a real arena, 20 feet from the audience, with no editing, no cuts, and no safety net between you and the destruction. What you see on television is the same hardware fighting in front of you: Witch Doctor, Kraken, Mammoth, HyperShock, Whiplash, and new challengers built specifically for this arena.

🌵
Spike’s Take $58 for the only live robotic combat show on earth. The regular price is $90 — that’s 36% off the door. You are not watching re-enactment robots or scripted spectacle. You are watching the actual machines from the television series, driven by the same engineers who built them, taking real damage in front of a live audience. The arena is loud, it smells like burnt metal, and the impacts are physical. This is the most genuinely different thing you can do in Las Vegas. Bring kids. They will not forget it.

The venue is purpose-built for the show: an in-the-round arena with seating on the Red Side (facing down the arena) and the Blue Side (facing across), plus an exclusive Platinum Club with ringside table seating for the closest possible view. The Robot Driver Stage on the left side of the arena is where you’ll see the engineers operating their machines during combat. No cameras or audio/video recording are permitted once the show begins.

What to Expect

🤖 Real Robots. Real Damage.
These are not prop robots or theatrical effects. The machines competing in the Destruct-A-Thon are the same championship hardware from the Discovery Channel series — built to fight, driven by their actual engineers. When Whiplash takes a hit from a spinning weapon at arena speed, that’s real metal deforming in real time. The sounds and the sparks are not manufactured for the audience. They’re just what happens when you put 250-pound fighting machines in an enclosed space.
🔥 Fire, Sparks, & Full-Contact Combat
The arena is designed to contain the combat, but you will feel the energy from anywhere in the venue. Sparks fly. Fire shoots from robots taking weapon damage. The crowd goes through the same emotional arc as the robots — building energy, sudden release when a big hit lands, the collective gasp when a machine stops moving. Half the show is the audience reacting to what’s happening in front of them.
🏆 TV Robots You Actually Know
Witch Doctor, Kraken, Mammoth, HyperShock, Whiplash — the names that BattleBots viewers know from years of following the Discovery series. These are not knockoffs or stand-ins. The specific robot lineup varies by show date, but all competing machines are championship-level builds driven by the same builders you’ve seen on television. For fans of the show, seeing these machines operate in person is genuinely jaw-dropping.
📅 Five Nights a Week, Year-Round
Wednesday and Thursday at 6 PM, Friday through Sunday at 2 PM. Dark Monday and Tuesday. The consistency of the schedule makes it easy to plan around — five nights a week, the same arena, the same championship robots. The afternoon weekend shows make this genuinely family-friendly for visitors with kids who want to anchor their Vegas day around something specific and memorable.
