What is Ikons of Rock?

Ikons of Rock is a 70-minute tribute production at The STRAT Theater built around multiple major rock acts from the late ’70s and ’80s. Instead of devoting the night to one band, the show moves through performances inspired by artists including Kiss, Alice Cooper, Journey, Bon Jovi, Heart and Van Halen.

That makes it more of a classic-rock sampler than a single-artist tribute. Costumes, stage personas and familiar songs do the heavy lifting, so it works best for groups that want a broad hit of arena-rock nostalgia without having to agree on one band.

Where is The STRAT Theater and how do I find it?
The STRAT Theater is inside The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower at 2000 S Las Vegas Blvd, at the north end of the Strip. Once you're inside the resort, follow signage through the casino to the theater. Plan to arrive about 45 minutes before showtime so you have time to park or get dropped off, walk through the casino, hit the restroom, grab a drink, and get settled before the lights go down.
Is Ikons of Rock appropriate for kids?
Ikons of Rock is open to ages 5 and up. Guests age 5 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older. It's a loud, high-energy classic-rock concert with theatrical staging — think arena rock at full volume rather than a quiet theater show. Kids who love rock music will have a blast; younger children may want hearing protection. There's no explicit adult content.
Which seats are best — what's the difference between the zones?
There are four zones. VIP Table (blue) puts you at cabaret tables right at the stagefront. VIP Booth (red) is the booth seating just behind the front tables, still very close and center. Preferred (purple) is the Sweet Spot — the elevated main-house seating with a clean, straight-on view of the whole stage and lighting rig at a much better price than the front VIP tables. Gallery (green) is the value seating toward the rear and outer wings. For most guests, Preferred hits the best balance of sightline and price.
Is it a live band or backing tracks?
Ikons of Rock is built around real musicianship and live vocals. The show is renowned for world-class performers who deliver uncanny portrayals of rock legends — the singing and playing are performed live, which is a big part of why the tributes land the way they do. This isn't a lip-sync revue; it's a full concert production.
Can I take photos?
Still photos may be allowed as long as they aren't distracting — please check with your usher on the way in. No flash photography. And since there's a complimentary post-show meet & greet, you'll get a chance to snap photos with the cast afterward, so you don't have to shoot the whole show from your seat.
Is there really a free meet & greet, and what's the refund policy?
Yes — every ticket includes a complimentary post-show meet & greet where you can meet the cast, take photos, and share your favorite rock memories. As for refunds, tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased, which is standard for live Las Vegas entertainment.
