What kind of show is ROUGE?
ROUGE is an 18+ co-ed variety burlesque at The STRAT Theater, with male and female performers combining acrobatics, dance and comedy. The appeal is that mix: an adult revue with physical spectacle and humor alongside the burlesque.
The production opened at The STRAT in April 2022. According to the show's announcement, it has since staged more than 2,000 performances for over 500,000 guests.
The press has picked up on both sides of the show. Em Jurbala of KLAS-TV / CBS called it “The hottest show in Vegas has arrived.” Las Vegas Magazine's Matt Kelemen offered a more specific description:
