🌵 Spike Wants to Know
Have you seen X Rocks before?

You already know the pitch: iconic rock and metal songs, topless choreography that actually commits to the material, and a short comedic breather partway through. If you sat Rockstar last time and found the up-close angle a little much for the big production numbers, try VIP this round — it's the section where the sets, lighting, and full choreography actually land the way they're designed to. Bringing someone who's never been? This is an easy sell for anyone who likes their revue with a wall of guitars behind it.

X Rocks comes from Matt and Angela Stabile, the team behind X Burlesque — but this one's built entirely around iconic rock and heavy metal songs, reimagined with sultry choreography, elaborate sets, and topless dancers who sell the material like a real concert, not a lounge act. A short comedic routine breaks up the sexier numbers, so the 70 minutes never feels like one long sensory wall. The discount here is modest — $65 against a $68 regular price, about 4% off — so book it for the show, not the deal. Start with VIP; it's the seat Spike would book.

About X Rocks

Turn the classic Vegas topless revue up to eleven, plug it into a wall of amps, and you get X Rocks.

X Rocks comes from Matt and Angela Stabile, the husband-and-wife producing team behind X Burlesque — but it's a different show entirely, not a spin-off. Where X Burlesque plays as a variety-style topless revue, X Rocks is built end to end around one idea: iconic rock and heavy metal songs, reimagined through sultry, high-energy choreography, elaborate sets, and topless dancers who treat the material like a genuine rock show rather than a backdrop for it.

Producer Angela Stabile has described the show as pairing powerhouse rock songs with erotic, high-energy choreography and eye-catching sets — with surprises built into nearly every number. Take that as the mission statement: X Rocks isn't the same revue with a new soundtrack bolted on, it's a full remaster.

A short comedic routine breaks up the run of numbers partway through — a deliberate breather that keeps the 70 minutes from becoming one long wall of sound, and gives the room a laugh before the energy climbs back for the back half.

🌵
Spike's Take $65 against a $68 regular price is a modest discount — about 4% off — so don't come in expecting a steal. What you are getting is a genre almost nobody else on the Strip is doing this well: a topless revue that actually sounds and feels like a rock concert instead of a lounge act with guitars in the background. VIP is the section Spike would book. Rockstar puts you right against the stage, which is fun for a song or two, but VIP is where the sets, the lighting, and the full shape of the choreography all read the way they're supposed to.

Seating runs four zones: Rockstar up front (split into two blocks flanking the center aisle), VIP in the middle band (the Sweet Spot), General Admission farther back, and a small elevated Icon box at the rear. The show runs Wednesday through Sunday at 9:30 PM — dark Monday and Tuesday. Cameras and audio/video recording devices aren't allowed once the show starts, so leave the phone in your pocket and let the band do the work.

What to Expect

🎸 An All-Killer Rock & Metal Soundtrack
Iconic rock and heavy metal songs reimagined for the stage — the entire show is scored around the soundtrack, not the other way around, so the music drives every number instead of sitting in the background.
💃 Sultry Choreography & Elaborate Sets
Topless dancers, big production design, and a "remastered" reinvention of the revue format — producer Angela Stabile has described pairing high-energy choreography with unbelievable sets and surprises throughout.
😂 A Shot of Comedy Mid-Show
A short comedic routine breaks up the sexier numbers partway through — a deliberate change of pace before the energy climbs back up for the back half of the show.
🔥 From the Creators of X Burlesque
Matt and Angela Stabile built their reputation on X Burlesque; X Rocks is their separate, rock-and-metal-driven production — same craft, a different soundtrack and attitude entirely.

🪑 Sweet Spot
Split into two blocks flanking the center aisle, directly against the stage — the closest seats in the house. Rockstar puts you right up against the choreography, but at this range the wide-shot visuals — the sets, the lighting rig, the full formation of a number — are harder to take in. Great if you want to feel like you're on stage with the band; the VIP band behind it gives you more of the picture.
The middle band, spanning the center section and both side wings. This is the seat Spike would book. Far enough back that the sets, lighting, and full choreography read the way they're designed to, close enough that it still feels loud and immediate. If you only buy one upgrade for this show, make it VIP.
The outer and back band, spanning the center section and both wings — the farthest of the three main seating bands. You'll see the whole stage and catch every number; it's simply a longer view than VIP. A smart, budget-friendly way to see X Rocks without giving up sightlines.
A small, standalone elevated box at the very back and center of the room — separate from the three main seating bands. A different vantage point above the main floor, for guests who want a bit of separation and a bird's-eye angle on the whole production.

X Rocks comes from the same husband-and-wife producing team behind X Burlesque, Matt and Angela Stabile — but it's a separate, standalone production, not a spin-off or a re-skin. Producer Angela Stabile has described it as pairing powerhouse rock anthems with erotic, high-energy choreography and eye-catching sets, with surprises built into nearly every number — think of X Rocks as the louder, riff-driven cousin to X Burlesque's classic revue format.

There are four zones. Rockstar sits front and center, split into two blocks flanking the center aisle, closest to the stage. VIP is the middle band, spanning the center section and both side wings — this is the show's Sweet Spot. General Admission is the outer and back band, also spanning the center and both wings, and is the farthest of the three main seating areas. Icon is a small, standalone elevated box at the very back and center of the room, separate from the other three.
Seating at the X Rocks Theatre inside Horseshoe Las Vegas begins about 30 minutes before the 9:30 PM curtain, but plan to arrive at the property 45 minutes early. That gives you time to find the theater, use the restroom, and grab a drink before you sit down. Once the show starts, cameras and audio/video recording devices are not allowed.
Rockstar puts you right against the stage, which some guests love, but at that range the big-picture elements — the sets, the lighting design, the full shape of the choreography — are harder to appreciate. VIP pulls back just enough to take in the whole number while still feeling close and loud. It's the seat that balances intimacy with the visuals the production is built around.
X Rocks runs Wednesday through Sunday with a consistent schedule, so outright cancellations are uncommon. Tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased, which is standard for live Las Vegas entertainment. In the rare case of a cancellation, you'll be notified and given refund options.
