Criss Angel MINDFREAK is a 75-minute illusion production at Planet Hollywood built around large-scale magic, concert-style lighting, video, sound and pyrotechnics. The show presents Criss Angel’s signature illusions with the kind of production package normally associated with a rock concert.

The technical staging is part of the point. This is not close-up card magic in a quiet room; it is a loud, effects-heavy spectacle where the visuals, soundtrack and theater design are meant to amplify the illusions. Choose it for scale and intensity more than intimacy.

Which seating zone should I choose?
Sections 102, 201–203 and 302–304 are the Vegas Sidekick Sweet Spot. Section 102 is the closest centered section. Sections 201–203 form the middle level, while 302–304 give you an elevated rear view. Sections 101, 103, 301 and 305 sit farther to the sides.
Is this a magic show or more of a production?
Both, and it's worth knowing that before you go. MINDFREAK is a fully immersive illusion spectacular with concert-level production: pyrotechnics, theatrical lighting, video projections, and a purpose-built theater engineered around the show. Opinions divide fairly predictably between guests who find the production extraordinary and guests who wanted more pure stand-alone magic with less spectacle. If you're drawn to the scale and immersive experience, this show delivers it. If you're coming specifically for close-up or intimate sleight-of-hand magic, this is a different format.
Can I take photos or videos?
No. The use of cameras and audio/video devices are strictly prohibited during the show. This is enforced — security monitors the audience throughout the performance. Put the phone away when you take your seat and leave it there. You'll get more out of the show for it.
Is this show appropriate for kids?
Ages 10 and older are recommended due to mature content. This is a recommendation, not a hard restriction. Everyone must have a ticket to enter. Guests 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The show includes death-defying stunts and some dramatic visual content that may not be appropriate for younger children.
Where is the Criss Angel Theater inside Planet Hollywood?
The Criss Angel Theater is located on the mezzanine level of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino at 3667 S Las Vegas Blvd. Enter through Planet Hollywood and follow the signs — the theater has a distinctive futuristic design and a large sign that makes it easy to identify. The mezzanine level means you'll take an escalator or elevator up from the casino floor. Arrive at least 20 minutes before showtime to allow time to navigate the property and get to your seat.
