What is Blue Man Group Las Vegas?

Blue Man Group is a 90-minute Las Vegas production at the Blue Man Theater inside Luxor that mixes live percussion, physical comedy and large-scale visual effects.

The signature Blue Man style is built around drumming, paint, unusual instruments, deadpan expressions and visual set pieces. Music and movement do most of the communicating, which gives the show a fast, highly visual rhythm that works even when very little is being said.

The production is intentionally loud and sensory, especially closer to the stage. Percussion drives the energy while physical comedy and oversized visual moments keep changing what the room is doing around you.

Is Blue Man Group good for kids?
Yes. Blue Man Group is genuinely all-ages — no dialogue means no language barrier or adult content, and the combination of percussion, visual comedy, and spectacle tends to land well across age groups. Children under 4 are admitted free on a lap. The show is recommended for ages 3+ because the percussion is genuinely loud. Children who are sensitive to loud sound may find it overwhelming. If that's a concern, the 200 level is slightly farther from the speakers than the front of the lower sections.
Will I get wet or covered in paint?
The front rows of sections 102 and 103 receive ponchos before the show. There are moments where material is projected toward the audience and the front rows are genuinely in range. The ponchos are provided for a reason. If you prefer to watch the splatter from a distance, the 200-level mezzanine is outside the splash zone. If you want to be in it, the lower front rows are the place to sit — the ponchos cover you well.
What's the difference between the 100 and 200 sections?
Sections 102 and 103 are the lower level — closer to the stage and within range of the show's splatter sequences. Sections 201–204 are the mezzanine — elevated, with a wider field of view for seeing the full production simultaneously. Both levels are valid choices, but Spike's preference for this particular show is the 200 level because the staging uses the full horizontal width in ways that read better from above.
Where is the Blue Man Theater inside Luxor?
The Blue Man Theater is on the mezzanine level of Luxor Hotel & Casino at 3900 S Las Vegas Blvd. Enter through the main Luxor entrance and follow signs to the theater. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before showtime — seating opens then, and Luxor is a large property that requires some navigation on your first visit.
When should I arrive?
Seating opens 30 minutes before showtime — plan to arrive at Luxor 30 minutes early so you have time for the restroom, a drink, and getting seated. The pre-show setup inside the theater is worth seeing: the performers interact with the audience before the official start and it sets the tone for what follows. Arriving with time to spare also ensures you find parking and navigate to the mezzanine without rushing.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Blue Man Group runs multiple shows per week and has been a consistent Las Vegas resident for over two decades — cancellations are extremely rare. Tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased, which is standard for Las Vegas production shows.
