About Awakening

Awakening is one of the most ambitious original productions Las Vegas has seen in years — a full-scale fantasy spectacular built exclusively for Wynn Las Vegas. The show runs in the custom-designed Awakening Theater, a purpose-built venue engineered specifically around the production's demands for aerial flight paths, pyrotechnics, and immersive staging.

The story follows a battle between ancient forces of nature. Over 80 minutes, the cast of world-class acrobats, aerialists, and dancers brings that conflict to life through aerial sequences, fire effects, digital projection, and choreography designed at a scale that puts most Las Vegas productions to shame. This is not a revue or a compilation show — it's a fully realized original work with a beginning, middle, and end.

🌵
🌵 Spike's Pick — Vegas Sidekick Recommends Awakening is the kind of show Wynn builds when they're trying to remind the rest of the Strip what a real production looks like. A custom theater, a massive budget, and an original story make this one of the most complete theatrical experiences in Las Vegas. If you want to see something that feels genuinely unlike anything else — not a tribute show, not a touring act — this is it.

Non-flash photography is permitted during the show. Video recording is not. The production includes pyrotechnics, smoke, elevated sound, and dramatic lighting — guests with photosensitivity, epilepsy, or sensitivity to light and sound should take note before attending.

What to Expect

🔥 Pyrotechnics & Visual Effects
Fire, smoke, and dramatic lighting are woven into the performance — not just as atmosphere but as part of the choreography itself. The technical execution is at a level you rarely see in Las Vegas.
🪂 Aerial Flight Sequences
Aerialists travel the full height of the theater. The Awakening Theater was built specifically to accommodate the flight paths this show requires — no standard showroom could stage this.
🎭 An Original Story
Not a tribute act or a variety showcase. Awakening tells a complete narrative — rare for Las Vegas productions. There's a beginning, a middle, and an end, with the acrobatics and effects serving the story.
🏟️ A Theater Built for the Show
The Awakening Theater was engineered around the production's technical requirements. Every seat has a purposeful sightline to the stage — there are no bad seats in this building.
🌊 Immersive Scale
Digital projections, elevated sound design, and coordinated lighting make the entire theater feel like part of the production — not just the stage.
💎 Wynn-Level Production
This is a flagship production at one of Las Vegas's most premium resorts. Costumes, choreography, and technical execution are all at the highest level the Strip offers.

The closest zone to the stage in any section. Effects land at maximum intensity from Diamond, and aerial sequences pass directly overhead. Premium price for the most immersive experience in the house.
One tier back from Diamond. Excellent proximity with a slightly broader view of the full stage — which some prefer for a show as visually complex as Awakening.
Spike's Pick. Far enough back to take in the full aerial picture while still close enough to feel every effect. Best balance of experience and price in the theater.
Spike's Pick. Similar sightlines to Sapphire at a lower price point. The Awakening Theater was built for this show — even Ruby gives you a clear view of every aerial sequence and effect.
The furthest zone, but this is an intimate custom-built theater — not an arena. Topaz still has clear sightlines to the stage and aerial sequences. A smart buy if you want to see the show on a tighter budget.
